The breadth of the topics offered is a particular characteristic of this three-day event series. Topics range from perspective, environmentally political, and legal developments to problems and technical innovations in water and waste management.

The event organizers take up current and innovative topics each year. Competent and well known experts from science, politics, and practice will present the newest research results and developments in over 70 presentations.

About 900 participants attend the workshop annually, which has established itself as the meeting point for the professional world in water and waste management over the past 49 years.
